Bound

We are bound by beliefs

We state them as facts

we build upon them

expounding

left and right

everything is arbitrary

we decide

set all perimeters and boundaries

not enough or just right or

horrendous abomination

right becomes defined by

the whims

of those not out numbered

those with more power

majority rules

and gets to chose

And if most of us live in

world poverty dying

under someone else's rule

how can it be?

We are bound by

some else's beliefs ...

that we don't matter

in their grand scheme

of getting rich and fatter

breaking banks

and burning ozone

forcing the masses

into early graves

without vaccination,

irrigation and wells

walling people in,

walling people out

silencing the educated

and the liberal

beating the strong

to submission

driving the spiritual

into exile

and the spirited

off to prison for some

thought up

to be written down

crime

against...

and taking half

the voice

and power from

every situation with

the exclusion and isolation

of women.
