Lawyers say the main point of Suu Kyi's appeal is that the law authorities used against her is invalid because it applies to a constitution abolished two decades ago...Lawyers say their appeal will argue that the lower court misinterpreted Suu Kyi's previous restriction order which says she cannot communicate with the outside world by phone or mail — but the order should not be applied in the case of the American's uninvited entry to her home.
The appeal will also argue that judges and police officers illegally entered Suu Kyi's home when they brought Yettaw back to re-enact his crime while Suu Kyi was being detained in prison, Nyan Win said, adding that the terms of her house arrest state that authorities must notify Suu Kyi prior to entering her home.
The American, John Yettaw, was sentenced to seven years in prison but was released on humanitarian grounds and deported on Aug. 16.'Aung San Suu Kyis Lawyers Optimistic About Appeal, as Junta frees Thousands of Convicts'

Here is the basics, Political Prisoners were not in the release, and Sanctions are continuing against Myanmar until, as stated by Hillary Clinton "the core human rights and democracy issues have been addressed". The NLD (National League for Democracy) is the opposition party to the current military regime, Junta, and is asking that the political prisoners also be released and that would include their Vice Chairman Tin Oo and their General Secretary, Aung San Suu Kyi, who has as a matter, of just a couple hours ago, asked to meet with the diplomates participating in the sanctions to begin conversations about the reasons for and the attitudes about what needs to be accomplished to lift them and how it is effecting the citizens of her country. No doubt it is her goal to peacefully negotiate workable solutions and an end to what has been harsh to the entire population and without success.
This all could result in such a major shift for the people of Myanmar, it is a small and isolated country, one can only imagine what kind of shortages such trade sanctions would result in. Building materials, food, medicines etc.
