Afghanistan's Outspoken Malalai Joya

 Although I really hate this 'itty bitty' video with it's commercials and promotion of other videos unrelated, I LOVE the actual content and this woman!  She speaks about our government and hers as if she was an American Woman...and I do not doubt one bit of it, as the absolute truth. I find her inspiring, courageous and extremely intelligent to how her world really works.  It is a very fine line, I think. She spoke her mind and was removed from Parliament losing her means of support, but it had to be said and she is still around to continue her work for now...and NOW is really all anyone has.  I wish her safety and security.

I spent some time on Malalai's site and realized she was only 25 when she took on Parliament and is still not yet 30. I am so shocked and moved. It is hard to know what to do with all this that have I sought out to absorb.  There is stages I think when one begins to see how different the truth is than you have always thought.

There is so much to read and reflect upon on her site; I do that hope you will take the time, as it is well worth it.
